ICASTCS Policy

TYPE OF PEER REVIEW

ICASTCS employs double blind review, where both the reviewer and author remain anonymous throughout the process.

HOW THE REVIEWER IS SELECTED?

Reviewers are matched to the paper according to their expertise. Our database is constantly being updated. We welcome suggestions for reviewers from the author though these recommendations may or may not be used.

REVIEWERS ARE ASKED TO EVALUATE WHETHER THE MANUSCRIPT:

Is original
Is methodologically sound
Follows appropriate ethical guidelines
Has results which are clearly presented and support the conclusions
Correctly references previous relevant work

Reviewers are not expected to correct or copyedit manuscripts. Language correction is not part of the peer review process.

DECISION OF THE MANUSCRIPT

Reviewers advise the editor, who is responsible for the final decision to accept or reject the article

NO-SHOW POLICY

Papers that are not presented in the conference will not be included in the final Proceeding

AUTHOR GUIDELINES

ICASTCS Template

What should be in International Proceedings :

1. Author Information:
- Name, Email, Institution (Maximum 4 Authors)
2. Article Length (2500 – 4500 Words including References):
- Title
- Abstract (150-200 Words) and Keywords (4-5 Words)
- Introduction
- Research Method
- Result/ Findings and Discussion
- Conclusion
- References

NOTE:

Please note that we use a double-blind review process, so authors’ names and affiliations should not be written in the paper. This is necessary to ensure fairness in the review process.

** All technical writing: Turnitin, Medeley, Layouting will be done by the committee. The author simply focuses on the substance of the manuscript.

SUBMISSION CHECKLIST

The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another conference for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Director).
The submission file is in Microsoft Word, RTF, WordPerfect, pdf document file format.
All URL addresses in the text (e.g., http://pkp.sfu.ca) are activated and ready to click.
The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the two links above.
If submitting to a peer-reviewed track of the conference, authors’ names are removed from submission, with “Author” and year used in the bibliography and footnotes, instead of authors’ name, paper title, etc.
If submitting to peer review, all Microsoft Office documents (including Supplementary Files) have been saved by going to File and selecting Save As; clicking Tools (or Options in a Mac); clicking Security; selecting “Remove personal information from file properties on save”; clicking Save.

Once you have acceptance notification for your paper , please kindly fill the following form http://bit.ly/ICASTCSform to proceed invoice for your paper. Then, the detail of invoice will be sent to your email.

The invoice will be made based on the data of the first author.
Registration fee is paid via Mandiri Virtual Account. Each paper will be created a unique virtual account in limited time period.
Please follow the payment instruction attached in the email to perform the payment for your paper.
